CURRENT INFORMATION

Most of the links on this page are still broken. I have decided that the best course of action is to rebuild this site using a different application. This will enable me to add some features that will make your use of this site much easier and user-friendly.
I hope to have the new page up before I leave for ConsimWorld Expo.

I am working steadily on the rules for Tom Eskey's THE SUMMER OF 1863. This will be the next Just Plain Wargame out.
96 counters, 5/8 inch back-printed, Point-To-Point movement, with a subtle system that portrays the political and economic underpinnings of the Gettysburg Campaign.
I will be posting graphics soon, but the rules have to come first in the process.
Other effort is still being applied to reconstructing the files lost last October when the server crashed while I was out of town. I am enrolled in a class on May 15th to help me understand the previous web coder's techniques. [She encoded the site as pure html without using an interface application such as Adobe Page Mill or the like.] Much of what I am seeking are emails hat became krobbled when the system went down abruptly.
Thanks to the generosity of a wargamer named Robert Corbett, the second edition of boxes for ACROSS THE PACIFIC are here. Due to a graphic error on my part, the title and designer credit were left off the cover of the first edition box. Robert, seeing that, remarked that "A game this good deserves a better looking box", and wrote a check for the manufacture of new box lids for the remaining inventory.

This web site experienced a nearly-catastrophic crash sometime around November 9, 2010.
I am in the process of reconfiguring and rebuilding things here.
It was time for a new look anyway.
Please bear with me throughout the coming weeks as these changes occur.
On June 19, 2010, my father was diagnosed with cancer. He was sent to immediate surgery. Because I had spend 8 years as my wife, Stephanie's, medical advocate during her visitation with cancer, I was the go-to guy in terms of doctor-speak in my father's final illness.
Between June 19 and November 21, I made the 950-mile round trip to Southern California 15 times. got to deal with the medical situation, with the hospice situation, with my father's burial.
That effort took well over half the hours between mid-June and late November. This expenditure of time, spirit, and physical effort played hob with the filling of orders.
I am back from all that now and getting games out as quickly as I can.
Thank you for your patience.
