CURRENT INFORMATION
May 17, 2009 -- Preparations underway to journey to Tempe for ConSimWorld Expo
We will be closed from Saturday May 22 through June 6th.
ACROSS THE PACIFIC has a tentative shipping date of June 15th, depending on the map printer in Colorado.
Email and computers all humming along.
May 6, 2009 - Email disrupted.
We are experiencing big troubles with our computers. This web site was down for a time and currently we are unable to send or receive email. Initial consultation seems to indicate that our email program is simply such an old version that it has failed.
More when we now more.

Product Updates
ACROSS THE PACIFIC developer's notes are being added to the Players Handbook. We expect sending the entire pre-production package to the designer and developer this week for a final proofread before entering production. The dice were supposed to be here now, but they will not ship to us until April 15th or so.
THE ROAD TO BERLIN: The Last Act in The East There has been some discussion raised on www.consimworld.com as to the status of the wargame. Once the development team has concluded its dealings with ACROSS THE PACIFIC and WELLINGTON'S WAR, this project will be reviewed in light of Stephanie's last edition of the rules and the discovery that only two words need to be changed in order to clarify them. More information as the team reports back.
February 3, 2009. Price Increases to Take Effect February 13, 2009.
Pacific Rim Publishing announced in August 2008 a number of price increases to take effect at the beginning of September. Medical events and the ensuing complications intervened by taking away our mental focus on things wargamish.
With salubrious Spring-like weather wafting o'er the Eastern Sierras of Western Nevada, we have begun to take up the many projects and work-related efforts that had been put down so abruptly in September.
The price increases [largely reflecting the increased cost of postage for in-print games and the 50+ increase in the cost of paper and ink in 2008 for forth-coming products (as well as their $9+ per copy domestic postage) ] will now take effect on February 13, 2009.
This gives you until February 12, 2009 -- Stephanie's birthday -- to order any current products and reserve any of the coming ones at the old prices. The downloadable Order Form (at right) reflects the old pricing.
January 5, 2009. Lindaanne has returned from her autumn in the Sierras. Jeff is back from spending the Holidays with his father, who is a D-Day veteran, and his niece Aori, who was born last May 31st. The genealogically talented among you will start calculating the spread of those three generations as being spread across something like 85 to 90 years. [A parallel aside: the last widow of a Confederate combat veteran died in May 2008. But that is another story.]
Once we get things moving, brush the scorpions off the bottoms of things [they hibernate everywhere], and get the coffee maker back into service, we will get a report on the progress of the six wargames that we want to publish in 2009 posted here.
We hope you have all had a Joyous Holiday Season and are entering into a Prosperous New Year.

What is going on at Pacific Rim Publishing.
With Stephanie's death, Lindaanne has taken time off. Jeff is leaving his 'day job' with ITM at the end of October and will then be here on a constant basis. The price increases will now take effect 1 November 2008. ACROSS THE PACIFIC is delayed, but it has hit the 500 minimum reservation threshold and will enter production as soon as possible.
Our gratitude to all of you who have taken the moment to express your condolences.
September 21, 2008.
Pacific Rim Publishing co-founder, Dr Stephanie A. J. Tibbetts died today.
We will miss her.
August 15, 2008 - Price Increases coming on Pacific Rim Publishing products.
Price increases have announced shortly. They will take effect on orders and reservations received October 1, 2008 and after.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PLACED A PREPUBLICATION RESERVATION YOUR ORDER WILL BE HONORED AT THE ORIGINAL PRICE.
Pacific Rim's staff are back from Consim World Expo, Kaibab, Arizona, and other places. Consim World Expo was a very successful experience. Lots of reservations received. Several very useful playtest sessions for WELLINGTON'S WAR.
